Diabetes, pancreatitis, Grave's disease, thyroid problems, and adrenal gland disorders are all glandular diseases. The Social Security Administration evaluates most of them under its listings for endocrine (hormone) disorders. Although related to the pancreatic gland's production of insulin, the Social Security Administration (SSA) has a separate listing for kidney-related ailments. It is usually easier to get disability benefits for kidney-related ailments than other endocrine problems, if your medical condition is severe enough.
