SSDI and SSI disability cases that have been approved are "randomly" selected for quality review by something known as DQB, or disability quality branch.
However, many disability examiners, or specialists as they are also known, often voice a suspicion that cases that have been marked for approval are more likely to be "reviewed" by DQB versus ssdi and ssi cases that have been denied at either the initial claim or reconsideration process.
How long will a case be held by DQB for quality review. There is simply no way to know, not even for the social security office or for the examiner at DDS.
