For all intents and purposes, there is no limit to how many times you can apply, file, or appeal for disability. In fact, it is not abnormal for a disability examiner (at Disability Determination Services or the Bureau of Disability Determination as it is known in some states) to see that an ssi or ssd claimant has filed for disability up to fifteen times or more. In actuality, though, it far more preferable for a social security disability or ssi claimant to file appeals rather than start over with brand new claims. And in most cases, the best chance of having a case approved is at the ALJ hearing level. Disability Advocates Help with Claims Free Case Evaluation |
