DENIED ON FIRST TRY FOR DISABILITY, HOW DO I APPEAL ?

You simply, if you are not represented on your social security disability or ssi disability claim, contact the social security office where you applied, and inform them that you wish to file an appeal. You must remember, of course, to provide notification that you wish to appeal within sixty days of the date of your last denial in order to provide a "timely" appeal.

If you have an attorney handling your social security or ssi case, make sure you contact his or her office so the lawyer or his staff can file your appeal for you, and well within the deadline.
