Vaccinations, Diet and Asperger's Syndrome

Many parents are worried about getting their child their vaccination shots; some believe that these shots can cause varied degrees of autism spectrum disorder, such as Asperger’s syndrome, due to the mercury containing ingredient thimerosal.

Other parents have found that modifying their children’s diet has removed many of the symptoms of Asperger’s.

In this compelling story an English professor talks about his experience while watching two of his children change completely after their measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) shots. First, his daughter changed radically after her shot and was diagnosed with Asperger’s disease. Two years later, their son experienced the same drastic reaction. Both children went from being ‘normal acting’ children to flapping around wildly, not making eye contact, and blankly staring off into space. When tested for heavy metals and mercury, both children returned tests stating high levels.
