Asthma attacks are episodes which many asthmatics are familiar with. Asthma attacks can be somewhat mild and tolerable in many instances. However, an asthma attack can be so severe that it can lead to respiratory arrest. If the attack is severe enough, an individual with asthma can potentially die. The best way, of course, for an asthma patient to avoid the consequences of a severe attack or even the onset of an asthma attack is to follow their prescribed medication regimen which will generally include the use of bronchodilators and inhalers. Attacks of asthma can be triggered by all sorts of factors, including pet dander, pollen, dust, and smoke. |
