Angiosarcoma






An Angiosarcoma is a rare type of malignant neoplasm (tumor). It grows rapidly, is highly invasive and is thought to originate from vascular endothelial tissue cells. Angiosarcoma usually develops in older patients and is associated with past exposure to arsenic as well as vinyl chloride. Angiosarcoma also goes by the name hemangiosarcoma.
