Questions about Sleep Apnea |
|
Sleep apnea is a sleep-disorder in which affected persons, while sleeping, are momentarily unable to move respiratory muscles or maintain an air flow through the nose and mouth. This results in stopped breathing. Sleep apnea is often seen in individuals with fibromyalgia and the term is derived from the Greek word apnea, which means “without breath.” |
